Arctic Enlightenment: The Time of Plants in the Svalbard Global Seed Vault (forthcoming Minnesota University Press) and Through the Living Arctic (co-authored with Michael Bravo and forthcoming Cambridge University Press) 

I work in Arctic humanities, environmental humanities, and history of science. I am currently completing two books:Arctic Enlightenment: The Time of Plants in the Svalbard Global Seed Vault (forthcoming University of Minnesota Press), on the history of plant temporality, plant longevity, and Arctic places, from the Enlightenment to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault. I am completing a second book, Through the Living Arctic, co-authored with Michael Bravo and forthcoming from Cambridge University Press. With Michael Bravo I also convene the interdisciplinary Arctic Environmental Humanities Symposium.
