My research focus is on how the cryosphere, particularly cryospheric hazards, impact communities, on both a local and global scale. I am currently a research team member of the NordForsk-funded Climate Change Resilience in Small Communities in the Nordic Countries project (CliCNord), which seeks to build capacity in small Nordic communities to cope and adapt to climate change-induced hazards. We investigate coastal flooding due to storm surge, cloudbursts, wildfires, temperature extremes, landslides, slush avalanches, flash floods, and storms in eight cases in five countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands).
