On 14 April at 13:00, SSSI member Zdenka Sokolickova and colleagues Anne Beaulieu and Maarten Loonen will present and discuss the interactive interface Contaminating Encounters. This interface developed out of a 2022 scientific expedition to Edgeøya (the so-called SEES expedition) and narrates the SEES expedition through the voice of the ethnographer and the material she created during the expedition. During the webinar, Zdenka and her colleagues will present the interface and discuss what such ethnographic accounts can add to our understanding of both the world of science, and the world science is a part of.
